stuff in space!!!!!!

Sorry guys! I haven't posted in a while but today we have been learning about how to do things in space. It is weird how you do things differently in space. It's harder in zero-gravity to do things that normally require gravity to work. Here is a link to watch a video of how to clip your fingernails in space. I have learnt that you will need tethers and velcro and stuff to stick things in place or they will float all over the place and it will get VERY messy!!! MATHS!!!!!!!!

Hi guys I'm back with a new post!!!!! This one is about my work in maths. There will be a pic of my work underneath.

This is my work on mathletics! I haven't finished it yet and I am still working on it. I have to figure out which of the numbers are bigger/smaller. It's too easy sometimes. I think I am doing pretty good. Anyways, I gotta go. Bye guys and see ya on the next post!!!!

Da best holidays ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the holidays I went back to China and had lots of fun and sweat. The only part that wasn’t sweaty(it was also the best part)was ice skating. I had plenty of fun and I tripped A LOT. I learnt a little bit of skating and I was basically frozen to death(nearly)when I went out of the ice arena.Tee-hee! I made some snowballs out of ice bits and threw them. They all missed. I’m an AWFUL shooter.

I wish I could add emojis to express how I feel.

The holiday was lame apart from that, except I got a new set of Lego. It was something about Star Wars. I used to hate Star Wars but I started to like it after I watched Rogue One. Bet those blasters are pretty powerful.

I was wondering how those guys on the Light Side got so skillful that they can deflect blaster bolts with their lightsabers(that was not in Rogue One)as well as kill enemies. I wish I had a lightsaber as well.

Anyways, let’s get back to the topic. I went skating twice

And there was an orange juice machine that made fresh orange juice(I’m off topic again!). I bought one during the rest time before the next skating time. Pretty cool,huh? It was nice and I watched the juicer make the juice. Yum!

It felt weird when I skated. It kinda felt like I was floating

in the air and flying around.

It was just cool times a mili-cools and extremely great. Anyways, just have lots of fun. See ya next time and hope ya’ll had a fun holiday!!!

TERM ONE IN A NUTSHELL!!!!!!!!!

The slide above is a Term One in a nutshell slide that everyone had to do.
It has a rhyming poem on the first part and after this is stuff I've learnt in
literacy. On the third slide there is stuff I have learnt in maths.

Reading at school

In reading we have been put in different groups of people. Every day the groups have the same people in them except when someone moves up/down a reading group. The groups are given different books and all the children in one group have the same books. We are supposed to read one part of it first and we sometimes have follow-up activities about the text that we read.        

This will explain how to play a new version of Tag. To play it all you need is:

#1: Knowledge about Tag.

#2: This list!
If you can run fast then you can play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is called Turbo Tag.

How to play Turbo Tag:

You need two teams. One is Speedy Team, one is Fast team. In each team we need two “hares” and two “tortoises” to start. You also need to get your base boundary ready and choose the hares and tortoises.

The hares have to weave around the people to get to the enemy base to “kill” the tortoises by tapping their shoulder. BUT the tortoises can kill the hares in the same way too but have to move really slowly and they can’t jump. If a tortoise jumps they have to go to the enemy team but they stay as tortoises.

The rest of the people simply run from and tag each other. If they get tagged they become either hares or tortoises depending on their choice. Tortoises have to stay in their base. If a hare or tortoise gets killed they become ordinary people. The tortoises guard their base. The boundary is the edge of the court and the base’s boundary is four cones put in a line that takes up ¼ of the court.

Whichever team kills all the enemy tortoises first wins. Whichever team becomes all hares and tortoises first loses.

a story about a princess that had magic and got chased by a tornado and nearly died......

This is a story that I made with a sheet and a dice called Roll A Story.(the sheet is Roll A Story, not the dice)

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess with lllllllllllooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggg curly golden hair, cherry coloured lips that are soft as clouds, cheeks as pink as pink roses, a tiny little nose which was perfect, skin as fair as anything, eyes like the bluest of sapphires and she was magical.

Her name was Alicia.

One day, she went into an enchanted forest. It got darker and darker, but even at the darkest place she could see very well, for as mentioned above, she had magical powers. She felt damp and suddenly there was this HUGE tornado in front  of her. She started to fly up and she flew a hundred times as fast as the west wind but yet she felt as if she was still. Alicia panicked. She used all her energy and was nearly dead, but she had one last go and used all her magic to stop the tornado. It died down and eventually stopped. She cheered. Then she flew out of the forest, never to be seen again.

                              THE END
